Job Information

The County of Clay, Missouri has an opening for a full-time Systems Administrator in Information Technology. The primary purpose of this position is to implement, administrate, operate, and troubleshoot data center server and related infrastructure in a Windows Active Directory SAN environment; install and configure computers, peripheral devices and software based on end user needs and departmental policies; and ensure continuity of service and access to all network resources in a high-availability environment. Candidates will need excellent knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, SAN storage, VMware, Microsoft Exchange, Backup and Recovery, MSSQL implementation and administration, Citrix implementation and administration.  A+, MCSE/MCSP, or Microsoft related certification is preferred, as is 3 years of directly related systems administration.

Clay County offers a great benefit package to regular full and part-time employees including two defined benefit retirement plans fully funded by the County and a deferred-compensation plan with a match on the first 6% contributed. Starting Salary:
$50,000-$56,000/annually, plus Benefits.
