Job Information
The Clay County Parks Department is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Park Specialist I. This position supports the operations of the Parks Office, Fee Collection, Marina and Campgrounds while overseeing the collection of revenues, preparation of daily deposits and financial reporting. They also assist with maintaining the parks fee collection accounts and the collection and tracking of the various fee collection revenues.
This position will support Fee Collectors and Camp Host in the field as requested and ensure an adequate quantity of supplies is on hand for the office, campgrounds and fee collection. The Park Specialist I prints camping tags and documents for Camp Host, answers questions on the phone, in person, and online with Park Chat and Exchange pertaining to general information, camping, facility reservations and season passes.
A valid Missouri driver’s license and insurance is required for this position. As is knowledge of accounting principles, practices and record keeping, proficiency in MS Office applications, organization and communication skills.
