The County of Clay, Missouri has an opening for a full-time Code Inspector in Liberty, MO. This position ensures all properties throughout unincorporated Clay County meet code requirements by completing inspections and investigations. Candidates will need two years of related experience or education and it is preferred they are knowledgeable of of local government planning and land use terminology, practices, procedures, and laws. As well as Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) and State Emergency Management Administration (SEMA) rules, laws and regulations. If not already in possession, candidate will need to successfully complete the ICC Residential Building Inspector Certification (B1) within 6 months of hire.
