Job Information

The primary purpose of this seasonal position is to represent the Parks department and assist the Parks Department in meeting business demands by collecting fees and providing visitor assistance. Organizational skills to assist tracking and assigning camping for over 700 campsites. Inform public of rules and regulations, give general information, give directions and answer various questions about park operations and park resources. Handle and accurately count money and make change. Operate basic office equipment including computers, copiers, scanners, printers, calculators and two-way radios. Follow all County and departmental safety rules, regulations and procedures. Camp Attendants work alongside Camp Host working shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. as scheduled. Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and evenings; at least 18 years old; legally licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle; and able to work outdoors for extended periods.
