A State Divided: The Civil War in Missouri

A State Divided - logo 75%.jpgThe Jesse James Farm and Museum is hosting A State Divided: The Civil War in Missouri, a traveling exhibit created through a partnership between the Missouri History Museum and the Missouri Humanities Council. The exhibit will be at our museum from April 18th through June 14th, 2015 and covers all aspects of the Civil War in Missouri from the politics and battles of the Border War, slavery, and the lives of soldiers, to emancipation and the reformation period.

drum 75%.jpgMuseum admission also includes our 20 minute film, which covers the James family, their lives during the Civil War, and the career and death of Jesse James, as well as three galleries containing the largest collection of James family artifacts in the world, and a guided tour of the historic home where Jesse James was born and raised.
