The Guerrilla Shirt: A Labor of Love and the Fashion of Rebellion in Civil War Missouri

Beilein Jr. from the University of Missouri – Columbia, will speak about the guerrillas as men caught up in the culture of war in MO; how the guerrillas were different than regular CSA soldiers and how being a guerrilla shaped Jesse's concept of manhood.

This is a free event sponsored by the Clay County Parks, Recreation, and Historic Sites Department and the Friends of the James Farm.
