Civil War Speaker Series: Civil War Music

Sunday, June 3rd from 2:00 pm at the Jesse James Farm & Museum

Bonnie, Ashley and Caleb Pooker, and Linda Brookshier will play and sing popular songs from the Civil War. Bonnie will speak about the significance of the songs, where they originated, and the differences between songs sung by Union and Confederate soldiers. The audience will also have the chance to sing along. 
 
The speaking event is free, regular admission prices apply for tours. If you wish to tour the Jesse James Farm as part of your visit, it is advisable that you plan to do so before the speaking event. The tour takes about an hour and a half.
