Boards, Commissions, & Committees

One way for citizens to participate in local government is to volunteer for membership on one of its boards and commissions. Clay County collaborates and relies heavily on its citizen-directed boards, commissions, and other action agencies. All appointments to Clay County Boards and Commissions are made by the Presiding Commissioner and approved by the County Commission.  If you wish to be considered for an appointment to one of the Clay County Boards, Commissions or Committees, please complete this online application form below:

    Applicants may be subject to a background check and completion of a Missouri Ethics Commission Financial Disclosure, as required for certain Boards and Commissions by the State of Missouri.
